How Vitality works?

How it works

Vitality is our healthy living programme. We give you points for doing healthy things. Your points add up to something called your Vitality status. As you earn points, your Vitality status increases. Everyone starts at Bronze, then you can work up to Silver, Gold, then Platinum. This gives you something to aim for, and means you can see your hard work paying off.

1. We'll help you understand how you can improve your health

Vitality is core to your health insurance cover. Every PruHealth member can use Vitality to live a healthier lifestyle. First, you complete a simple online health review. This shows you how healthy you already are, allows us to create a personal plan to get you healthier.

2. We'll help you get healthier

To help you stick to your plan, we give you discounted gym membership at Virgin Active and LA Fitness. We give you discounts on things like health screenings and stop-smoking sessions, as well as extra Nectar points when you buy food that's good for you. All of this makes it easier and cheaper for you to get healthy.

3. We'll give you rewards that keep you motivated

But getting healthy still takes time and effort. So, to keep you motivated, we reward you when you make positive changes to your health. You can get anything from cinema tickets to round the world cruises. The healthier you get, the bigger the rewards. Finally, because healthier people cost less to cover, we pay back some of your premiums when you take part in Vitality. You could get as much as 20% of your premiums back - giving you more money to spend on living life well.
