Broker Vitality

We reward our customers for looking after their health and so it's only fair that we reward the Broker firms that promote PruHealth and sell our products. We call this Broker Vitality and it's our way of saying thanks to your business.

1. Get started

If your firm has previously registered for Broker Vitality, your Broker Principal will just need to complete your opt-in preferences for 2012.  If your firm hasn't registered before, your Broker Principal needs to complete a registration form and submit it to broker.vitality@pruhealth.co.uk.

2. Get active earning points

To qualify for Broker Vitality rewards, your firm needs to be actively working with PruHealth.  At least one registered individual must take and pass an online product assessment, and your firm must have written a minimum of five cases in the past 12 months.

Once your firm has met these 'Active Broker' criteria, you can start earning Broker Vitality points. Point earning activities have been divided into five categories with each category subject to a limit on the number of points a firm can earn each Broker Vitality year.  The more points you earn, the higher your Broker Vitality status.

How to join

If your firm is not already registered for Broker Vitality, your Broker Principal will need to register your firm by completing a Broker Vitality Registration Form and sending it to broker.vitality@pruhealth.co.uk.
A Registered Individual can only earn points on behalf of their Broker firm. To redeem certain rewards it is necessary for Registered Individuals to be registered on the PruHealth website.

We firmly believe that Broker Vitality is a clear, fair way of recognising and rewarding your business. However, firms can opt out of hospitality events and registered individual rewards, if they so wish. This means they can still benefit from rewards such as training, marketing support and SME leads, subject to their Broker Vitality status. We would remind you that all firms are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate internal controls and arrangements in place to ensure that they comply with all applicable laws and regulations, in particular, Chapter 2.3 of the Financial Services Authority's Insurance: Conduct of Business Sourcebook (ICOBS).

However, firms can opt out of hospitality events and registered individual rewards, if they so wish. This means they can still benefit from rewards such as training, marketing support and SME leads, subject to their Broker Vitality status.

Firms also have the opportunity to opt out of the Sales and Retention points earning categories. Doing this will limit the firm and the Registered Individuals to Silver status rewards.

We capture opt-in preferences from existing Broker Vitality firms during the first quarter of the year.  New firms can express their preferences on the Registration Form.
